UW: connecting people
– 波兰, Bōlán (Poland) is my second home. I fell in love with this country. It is very beautiful and filled with rich culture. People are forthcoming, friendly and open here. Many people at the University of Warsaw share these values – says Qian Li-Piszczek, a language teacher at the Chinese Studies Department of UW.
Juwenalia – students festival
The Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw invites you to the students’ festival – JUWENALIA UW. Like every year, the main campus and at Agrykola Square will be among the best venues in Warsaw. This year, the concerts will last for three days, 11th-12th and 26th May 2018.
It is a great opportunity to be here
Our research group is in a fortunate position. We have got some fantastic state-of-the-art apparatus. My impression is that there is a lot of progress right now at the University of Warsaw. This is another reason why I think it is a great opportunity to be here – says Dr. Phillip Iain Jolly from UK, a postdoc at the UW Biological and Chemical Research Centre.
