Financial aid

Employees, retired employees, and pensioners can apply for financial aid in the following cases:

  • death of a family member (parent, parent in law, spouse, children),
  • low average income,
  • birth of a child,
  • illness and high costs of treatment,
  • unexpected misfortune

PhD students can apply for financial aid in the case of unexpected misfortune, birth of a child, death of a family member (spouse, child).

Employees Financial Aid and Loan Fund 

Apart from the benefits available to all the employees, there is also a possibility to register at the Employee’s Financial Aid and Loan Fund (in Polish only). University employees who are members of the Employee’s Financial Aid and Loan Fund, can apply for interest-free loans, granted for a maximum of 20 monthly instalments. The Management Board of the EFALF may also grant quick loans, so-called “Chwilówki” – no guarantors needed, based on a certificate of permanent employment, issued by the Human Resources Office. The amount of the granted loan was set at 20% of the monthly gross pay.
