Find your mentor
Mentor is a Polish student who can give you a hand during your first days in Warsaw. She or he can pick you up from the airport, guide you through the procedures at the University, help solving some basic problems that newcomers usually have, and, last but not least, spend some quality time with you and show you the city.

UW: Initiatives for the Local Community – Powiśle speaks one language
The “Wspólny język Powiśla” (Powiśle speaks one language) Team invites you again to learn more about Warsaw, Powiśle district and people living there.
There are two new events planned in order to involve students in cooperation with the Powisle locals (Dobra 55 Street and the vicinity).
Get inspired at the UW
Martijn de Jonge is a Bachelor student at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen in the Netherlands. “I was once in Warsaw for a short holiday and I really liked the city. I decided to spend my Erasmus scholarship here. A lot of people from my university choose Great Britain, Belgium or Germany, but I wanted to experience another culture, different from my own. Because, for me, these countries are similar to the Netherlands” explains Martijn.
