Cultural Orientation workshops 2021

New academic year has just started. Studies are supposed to be one of the most beautiful times in life of every person. Unfortunately, for many students from abroad it is also a difficult time when everything seems strange and problematic.

But it doesn’t need to be.

Location-based game through the Old Town with Welcome Point UW!

Our Welcome Point Pavilion team would like to invite students who start their academic adventure in the winter semester 2021/2022 for location-based game, during which you will have a lot of fun while exploring the Warsaw Old Town and meeting new people!

Welcome meeting for new doctoral students

Welcome Point would like to help you at the very beginning of your stay in Warsaw. That is why we invite all new international doctoral students for a special online welcome meeting hosted by the Welcome Point team.

Online Library Training

Welcome Point together with the University of Warsaw Library would like to invite you to participate in the Online Library Training for all international students who have just started their studies at University of Warsaw. The meeting in English will take place on 5th October, at 6:00 pm.

Pool of free places in student’s dormitories

The registration for a place in the dormitory from the pool of free places will start today, September 24 at 8 pm. It will be held online via the Registration, like the registration for exams or classes at the University of Warsaw.

Psychotherapy in English free of charge

The therapy is conducted by experienced psychotherapists with presence/assistance of students who are enrolled in the last (5th) year of studies in the ‘Psychotherapy’ specialization at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw.

Campus Orientation

Welcome Point and the University of Warsaw Museum invite you to participate in Campus Orientation – 1.5-hour guided walks around the UW Main Campus. The first tour will take place on September 30 at 2 p.m. Prior registration is required.

Welcome Point Pavilion is open again!

We really missed you during the pandemic, so we look forward to stationary classes and the opportunity to meet you face to face! This is because, like every year, Welcome Point temporarily leaves the office and moves to the newly built pavilion.
