Welcome meeting for new doctoral students
Welcome Point would like to help you at the very beginning of your stay in Warsaw. That is why we invite all new international doctoral students for a special online welcome meeting hosted by the Welcome Point team.
Online Library Training
Welcome Point together with the University of Warsaw Library would like to invite you to participate in the Online Library Training for all international students who have just started their studies at University of Warsaw. The meeting in English will take place on 5th October, at 6:00 pm.
Pool of free places in student’s dormitories
The registration for a place in the dormitory from the pool of free places will start today, September 24 at 8 pm. It will be held online via the Registration, like the registration for exams or classes at the University of Warsaw.
Psychotherapy in English free of charge
The therapy is conducted by experienced psychotherapists with presence/assistance of students who are enrolled in the last (5th) year of studies in the ‘Psychotherapy’ specialization at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw.
Campus Orientation
Welcome Point and the University of Warsaw Museum invite you to participate in Campus Orientation – 1.5-hour guided walks around the UW Main Campus. The first tour will take place on September 30 at 2 p.m. Prior registration is required.
Student’s Rights and Obligations – meeting with Students’ Union of UW
We would like to invite all newly-admitted students for the online meetings about student rights and obligations, which will be conducted by the Students’ Union of University of Warsaw.

Vaccination in Poland – tips for international community of UW
Foreign students, doctoral students and employees of the University of Warsaw legally residing in Poland can be vaccinated for free against COVID-19 and obtain a vaccination certificate.
New Welcome Point Office – support for the international community of the Faculty of Economic Sciences
We are very pleased to inform that the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw has set up a Welcome Point, a subsidiary of central Welcome Point at the Warsaw University. The main purpose of the office is to support the international community of the Faculty – 25% of all people associated with the Faculty from over 50 countries.
