We are pleased to invite you to two new workshops that will help you take your first steps in Warsaw and at our University: Poland and Poles – cultural orientation training and Onboarding for international staff – practical training on the structure and culture of the University of Warsaw.
Both are intended for new international employees of the University who have recently arrived to Poland.
The main objective of the training is to introduce you to the basics of Polish culture, as well as to familiarize you with the University structure, core values and organisation of work.
Onboarding for international staff – practical training on the structure and culture of the University of Warsaw
Workshop objectives:
- Dealing with culture shock and acculturation process
- Polish academic culture:
- Academic values and cultural differences
- Organisational culture of the University of Warsaw
- Structure of the University of Warsaw
- Dimensions of culture in the context of work in the Polish higher education institution.

- Onboarding for the international staff – practical training on the structure and culture of the University of Warsaw – registration deadline: 25th March 2022, at 10 am
- Poland and Poles – cultural orientation training for the International staff of UW – registration deadline: 27th March 2022, at 10 am

WHO CAN APPLY?
The course is intended for international employees of the University of Warsaw.
An employee should be understood as a person employed during the period of implementation of the development activity at the University on the basis of a contract of employment or appointment.
