Take part in the National Census of Population and Housing!
Pursuant to Polish law, each person residing in the territory of Poland is obliged to participate in the National Census of Population and Housing. This also applies to international students and doctoral candidates who reside in Poland, as of 31st of March 2021.
Vaccinations against COVID-19
International students, doctoral students and academics having legal stay in Poland can be vaccinated against COVID-19 on the same basis as Poles – free of charge, according to a vaccination schedule based on age.

Online UW Open Day 2021: Coverage
Over 5 800 visitors, 70 stands prepared by faculties and units of the University of Warsaw, and more than 5 000 chat messages — these are the statistics of this year’s UW Online Open Day. Candidates for studies could learn about the university’s educational offer, admission rules and talk to students and lecturers.

Information on Employee Capital Plans (PPK)
The University of Warsaw signed an agreement with the PZU SA Investment Fund Management Company (Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych PZU SA) on the management of PPK (Employee Capital Plans). The fund will be managing assets of UW employees who decided to join PPK (aged 55-70) and those who had not resigned from participation in PPK (aged 18-54).

Crossing Polish border and new quarantine rules – updates
Update: April 6 From March 28, 2022 all restrictions on travel to Poland are lifted, which means there is no obligation to: present COVID certificates when crossing the border; test for SARS-CoV-2; undergo the so-called entry quarantine fill in the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) before arriving in Poland.
