Legalisation of stay – informational meeting online, June 2021
Do you ask yourself following questions: Do I need to legalise my stay? How can I do it during a pandemic? We all know that the subject of legalisation of stay in Poland might seem extremely complicated in the beginning! That’s why Welcome Point would like to invite all students for two informational meetings on legal issues concerning residence in Poland.
The University Vaccination Point – rules and instructions
It is expected that registration for appointments at the University Vaccination Point starts no later than 31th May 2021 and the first vaccination should take place no later than 17th-26th June 2021. E-referral for vaccinations for those who do not have PESEL number will be issued by CenterMed.
The 66th Summer Course of Polish Language and Culture (online) organised by the Polonicum Centre
The history of POLONICUM started with a summer Polish language course that has now been continuously organized for over 60 years. Year after year, its popularity is increasing, not only among young people and students, but also among mature people of different professions and nationalities. The course is held in August, it lasts 4 weeks and is usually attended by about 200 people from all over the world.

Polish-English culinary publication “Student Cookbook” is a collection of several dozen favourite recipes of the University of Warsaw students. In the ebook you will find ideas for a snack, something sweet, really quick dishes and many more, in vegan, vegetarian and meat versions.

New English-language study programmes at UW
The University of Warsaw offers over 100 study programmes in humanities, social, exact and natural sciences, as well as interdisciplinary ones. There are also degree programmes entirely conducted in English. This year, prospective students may choose from two new study programmes in English: Machine Learning, and Religions of Asia and Africa: Buddhism, Islam and Others.
Social diversity policy for Warsaw – public consultations
Warsaw Municipal Office invites you to take part in the on-line public consultations during which you will discuss what social diversity is and how to support it.
Admissions to Doctoral Schools for the 2021/2022 academic year
Four doctoral schools at the University of Warsaw are now open to applications. Deadline for application: 28 June. First interviews will take place in July and early August. In the meantime the admission to the Implementation Doctorates Programme is ongoing up to 11 May.
