Responding to the needs expressed in a poll on workshop topics we invite our long-term students for a super useful psychological workshop on how to find effective ways to procrastinate.
What is this workshop about?
As we know from history, procrastination was already struggled with by the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius in 170 AD. Now, fortunately, we can get down to procrastination a little more efficiently than in his ancient days.
That’s why we are pleased to invite you to a full-day workshop on ‘Tame this procrastination monster and learn to do things in due time’ on March 9th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This workshop will help students:
- to learn what procrastination is, what it does to us and what can be done about it;
- know how to work on motivation – he/she will learn techniques to motivate himself/herself and his/her colleagues;
- be equipped with knowledge and tools in the fight against procrastination in the context of effective work and in not putting things off.
The language of instruction: English
The workshop time includes a break and a lunch meal (ordered for the participants).
Who can participate?
‘Tame this procrastination monster and learn to do things in due time’ workshop on 9th March (Thursday) is financed by the The University’s Integrated Development Programme (ZIP programme)
and so it’s dedicated for long-term students of the University of Warsaw who are:
- 2nd and 3rd year BA (undergraduate/1-cycle) students,
- all MA (post-graduate/2-cycle) students,
- 4th and 5th year long-cycle students.

The registration is open till Wednesday, 1th March, 11.00 pm via the registration link.
Participants are obliged to attend the whole workshop in person – from 9.00 till 4.00, and to fill in a ZIP declaration programme which will be sent to them when the registration is closed.

‘Tame this procrastination monster and learn to do things in due time’ workshop is organised within the Integrated Development Programme at the University of Warsaw and funded by European Social Fund. The objective, pursuing at the University of Warsaw between 2018-2023, is to develop competence of students and employees as well as implement the instruments which upgrade the management process of the University of Warsaw.
