Welcome Point invites all new international UW employees to join the Welcome Meeting to facilitate your first steps at the University and in Warsaw!
When & Where?
- Welcome Meeting: 26 February 2026 (Thursday);
- 12:00 P.M. – 2 P.M. – Onboarding presentation, coffee breaks & networking;
- 2 P.M. – Campus Tour;
- Place: UW Main Campus, The Old Library Building.
Meeting Agenda:
During the meeting, we will provide all the necessary information regarding the structure and functions of the University of Warsaw in order to familiarise you with the offices that you will most likely cooperate with daily.
Moreover, we will provide you with some tips for your first steps in Poland, as we know it can be quite a challenge. The meeting will be held with coffee breaks so that we can all enjoy and socialise with each other.
Feel free to prepare your questions and share your experiences with us during the meeting!
Who can apply?
The courses are intended for all international employees of the University of Warsaw.
An employee should be understood as a person employed during the period of implementation of the development activity at the University based on a contract of employment or appointment, in the group of academic teachers or non-academic employees.
