Warsaw Guided Walk for International UW Employees: Exploring the 1920s and 1930s

Welcome Point warmly invites all international UW employees and their families to join us for a special guided walk through the streets of Warsaw, exploring the city’s golden years of the 1920s and 1930s.

You might be a newcomer to the city, or perhaps as you go about your daily routine, you pass by these places without realizing the secrets they hold. General Piłsudski Square, Saxon Garden and streets: Kredytowa, Świętokrzyska, Chmielna and Nowy Świat defined the essence of  Warsaw and they are eager to share stories about life in the city before World War II – just stop… listen to what they have to say. Led by our knowledgeable guide, Sebastian ‘Tytus’, you’ll visit some of the most significant landmarks from that era and learn about the lives of Warsaw’s residents.

Join our guided tour on October 29 and learn about the fascinating history of Warsaw in its vibrant decades of the 1920s and 1930s! This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the past and appreciate the city’s cultural heritage.
