University of Warsaw Joins the EURAXESS Network

We are pleased to announce that the University of Warsaw has officially joined the EURAXESS network – a pan-European initiative supporting researchers in their career development and facilitating international mobility.

As a EURAXESS member, the University of Warsaw strengthens its commitment to providing comprehensive support for international researchers. The university’s participation in the network will be coordinated by Welcome Point, which will offer individualized assistance to foreign researchers and host departments at UW. This support will include guidance on administrative procedures and cultural aspects related to arrival, residence, and employment in Poland and at the University of Warsaw.

By joining EURAXESS, we aim to enhance collaboration, foster knowledge exchange, and improve the overall experience of researchers working in Poland.

Coordinated by the European Commission, the EURAXESS network connects universities, research institutions, and innovation-driven organizations across Europe. It offers a wide range of services to researchers and their families, helping them navigate the challenges of relocation and professional growth.

In Poland, EURAXESS has been operating for 20 years and is coordinated by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). Currently, 16 universities and research institutions are part of the Polish network. Reed more about EURAXESS services in Poland here.
