Pavilion 2025 – Meeting Point!

… because Welcome Point is a meeting point!

It’s the 9th Pavilion edition — and the 9th time we are expanding our offices!

  • with extra space
  • with number of people (with students and graduates who join us during this time)

Our goal is simple: to provide the international community with essential information about living and studying at the University — and in Warsaw itself.

The Pavilion will be open for 4 weeks:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
September 22 – October 17

Starting at UW? We’re Here to Help!

Welcome Point is the first place to go for newcomers — both UW students and staff — who need guidance and information about life at the University and everyday matters in Poland.

While Welcome Point is open year-round on both the Main Campus and the Ochota Campus, at the beginning of each academic year we launch an additional temporary space on the Main Campus — a pavilion designed like a welcoming apartment.

No appointment is needed to stop by. The Pavilion works on a drop-in basis: simply come during opening hours and get the information you need.

How can the Pavilion team help you?

  • University formalities – registering for courses, USOS, eduroam (wi-fi), obtaining your student ID card.

  • Practical matters – housing (dormitories), health care, and legalisation of stay in Poland.

  • Orientation in Warsaw & on University campuses

  • Language learning & sports opportunities at UW

  • International student support – directing you to the right place: Admissions Office, International Relations Office, and the Office of Academic and Student Affairs.

  • Everyday tips – who to ask, where to go, and how to make your start at UW smooth and stress-free.

Online consultations

If you can’t visit our Pavilion in person, please join our Zoom calls from Monday till Friday between 12.00 and 2.00 pm CET.

See you there!

This year’s Pavilion team sends their greetings from the workshop specially prepared by the Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw 🙂
