From “Better Together” to “Expanding Horizons”
The previous project, “Welcome Point – Better Together,” was implemented from 1 June 2023 to 31 May 2025.
The new project, WP-EHo, will run from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2027, and focuses on the idea of “internationalisation at home” and the overall development of the University of Warsaw’s capacity to host and support international members of the university community.
Building a More Inclusive University
The project also aims to strengthen integration between Polish and international students and staff by promoting tolerance and openness, as well as enhancing the skills of university staff. One of the main areas of activity includes organising training sessions for university employees to improve their competencies in handling formal procedures, legalising stay, employing international staff, and developing soft skills for communication in diverse, multicultural, and multigenerational workplaces.
Other activities will be addressed directly to international students, staff, and candidates – including information meetings, adaptation workshops, and the opening of the Welcome Pavilion at the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year.
The project will also support a professional UX audit and improvements to the Welcome Point website – including the implementation of a chatbot to assist users navigating the site.
