Welcome Point invites administrative staff to a training on the fundamental aspects of migration, legalisation of stay, and university services in relation to international students and doctoral candidates.

What will you learn?

  • Migration profile of Poland and the internationalization of higher education and science, focusing on opportunities and challenges.
  • Practical aspects of servicing international students, covering diploma recognition, health insurance, dormitories, the USOS system, classes and exams, psychological assistance, tuition fee waivers, and UW units responsible for supporting international students.
  • Procedures and documents necessary for the legalisation of stay for international students and doctoral candidates in Poland.

Enrollment requirements

Workshop is dedicated to administrative staff who work with international students. In order to attend the workshop employees are asked to send a signed permission from their immediate supervisor to welcome.event@uw.edu.pl.
