The Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw invites you to the students’ festival – jUWenalia UW. Like every year, the Main Campus will turn into a musical amusement park! From Friday afternoon until late Saturday night we will celebrate the days of student culture!

This year, the concerts will be held on 12th and 13th May. On May 13th students are also invited to silent disco. Entry to the events is free for the holders of the UW student/doctoral ID. The full program is available on the Students’ Union Facebook.

Two days of the Juwenalia UW will be free from classes.

Did you know?…

Juvenalia (Latin: Iuvenalia) is an annual student holiday held all over Poland in the spring since the 15th century! In the past, on these days students symbolically took over the academic cities, receiving the city keys from the mayors. This was accompanied by a colorful parade of dress-up students. In recent years, it has turned more into a time of parties, concerts and cultural events. The name of the festival is sometimes modified according to the names of universities: jUWenalia or city names: Varsonalia (Varsovia – Warsaw in Latin).
