It was made for U! Summing up the 2025 Welcome Days

 

As every year, onboarding information sessions in both Polish and English introduced newly arrived students to the basics of university life and the opportunities offered by the University of Warsaw.
On 26 September, students beginning their studies in English joined us to hear practical tips on living and studying at UW. On 30 September, we welcomed those starting their studies in Polish — witamy w Polsce!

The new students were greeted by Prof. Maciej Raś – Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Teaching and Learning; Maksymilian Sas – Coordinator of the Centre for Teaching and Learning; and Katarzyna Basisty – Coordinator of Welcome Point.

The event began with practical advice and useful tips shared by the Welcome Point team and continued with a series of presentations delivered by representatives of various UW units.

Both Welcome Days ended with guided campus orientation tours, organised by Welcome Point in cooperation with the University of Warsaw Museum. The tours offered newcomers a chance to get to know their new surroundings – the University’s historic Main Campus.
