On 1st October at 2 pm. in Auditorium Maximum at Krakowskie Przedmieście, the inauguration ceremony of the next academic year at the University of Warsaw will take place. Lecture entitled “Brain surgery. Contemporary possibilities of therapeutic intervention in the central nervous system” will be presented by prof. dr hab. n. med. Mirosław Ząbek.
The ceremony in the Adam Mickiewicz Auditorium will begin with singing the national anthem, followed by a speech by prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw.
During the inauguration, the visit of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, is planned.
Then there will be matriculation, i.e. the inclusion of new people into the group of students. Students and doctoral students who achieved the best results in the recruitment procedure will take an oath and receive their indexes from the rector. Representatives of the student and doctoral unions will also take the floor.
