Residence halls
The University of Warsaw offers 2,710 places in seven dormitories located in different parts of the city — Map of the dormitories (PDF)
Each dormitory has a quiet study room, a TV room, a computer room and a laundry room. The monthly rent ranges from EUR 110 to 250 (PLN 480 – 1100) per person, depending on the type of room. You can apply for a place through the USOSweb system (login and password will be provided by the doctoral school).
After logging in to the USOSweb (remember not to use the faculty USOSweb for this purpose!), select: For all, then: Applications, next: Application for a place at the UW student dormitory.
Deadlines for submitting applications
The exact dates of applying for places in the Student Dormitory, allocating places, and accommodation may vary from year to year. More or less, they are determined and announced by the Rector after consulting the Students’ Council of the University of Warsaw and the PhD Students’ Union.
We will provide the timetable after the official announcement.
Important note: Do not postpone the submission of your application. Applications will be verified and considered in the order in which they were submitted. Participation in the allocation round is guaranteed only to those who apply no later than 14 days before the specific round. This means that applications submitted at a later date may take part in a given round, but this is no longer guaranteed.
Time limits for assigning places
The exact dates of application consideration will be provided later.
The Office of Student Support and Assistance does not exchange places. This is only possible via USOSweb.
Accommodation in student dormitories
Exact dates will be provided after the official announcement.
