Ever feel like you’re saying something… and no one really gets you? Or maybe you’re just tired of awkward tension in the room, weird or boring conversations that leave you thinking “…that could’ve gone better”?
Then this workshop is for you. It is all about learning to express yourself clearly and empathetically – and to listen with care. “How to Speak and Be Heard in a Tower of Babel: Making Communication Work” is focused on enhancing communication, fostering intercultural understanding, and building lasting connections. You’ll gain valuable skills in co-living, self-expression, and group dynamics — all based on principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) — a method that helps you connect, even when things get tense.
You’ll gain:

- Skills to express needs and emotions without conflict
- The ability to listen actively and empathetically
- Practical communication tools for everyday co-living
- Confidence to set respectful boundaries
- Techniques to resolve misunderstandings calmly and clearly

The workshop is co-funded by NAWA Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange within the framework of the “Welcome to Poland” programme.
The workshop includes a coffee and a lunch break for its participants, financed by the NAWA programme.
The attendees are obliged to participate in the event from the start till the end (09.30 am – 4.30 pm)
