MULTICULTURAL WINTER BREAK
The Volunteer Centre of UW have joined forces with the programme “PROJECTOR – Student Volunteering” and would like to invite all of the students to take part in Multicultural Winter Break. This is a unique student trip with a theme of multiculturalism. It’s a great opportunity to rest after your winter exams in a useful and fun way! We are waiting for applications until January 7th.

No matter how and where you spend your Christmas break, we would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and peaceful holidays spent with the people you love and,
Christmas with the UW Psychological Counselling Centre
Christmas is generally considerd a time of peace, helping eachother, love, and joy… But not for everyone. Especially for international students, spending the holidays in a new environment, surrounded by a new culture and people, far away from home and family can take its toll, especially with the stress of holiday preparations.
Luckily, the psychologists from the UW Psychological Counselling Centre (CPP) will be available for UW students and employees also around Christmas time.
Working hours during the holidays
During the Christmas holiday, Welcome Point will be closed from the 23rd of December 2019 until January 1st 2020. If you need help during that time, feel free to contact us via Facebook or email. You are welcome to visit our office again starting January 2nd 2020!
INTERSTUDENT 2020
The 10th edition of the INTERSTUDENT competition for the best international student in Poland is here! The competition is aimed at international students in Poland at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral level who through their activities build bridges between cultures and enrich the Polish academic environment.

Welcome Point’s pavilion
Today (11.10.2019), Welcome Point’s pavilion will be opened for the last day this year and only until 12 noon. October was really busy month for us and we are happy that we could help you during your first days in Warsaw.
Welcome Day 2019
On Monday (30.09.2019) Welcome Point organized two meetings – one held in English, one in Polish – for international students. During the meetings students have learned the most important things about the University and Poland.
