As it might be difficult to understand the new culture and way of life, it is useful to have a local student who can answer some of your questions about Poland even before your arrival. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you apply for a Mentor. A Mentor can pick you up from the airport/train station and can help you locate all the facilities.
The Mentor Programme is organised by the Erasmus Student Network UW (ESN UW). If you are an exchange student (e.g. coming to UW under Erasmus+ or other arrangements) or a degree-seeking student coming to UW to complete a full degree, you can apply for a Mentor by filling out an online application form.
