The University of Warsaw offers a total of 2710 admissions in seven dormitories located in different areas of the city. Each hall has a quiet study lounge, a TV room, a computer room, and laundry facilities. Monthly rent varies from EUR 110 to 250 (PLN 480 – 1100) per person, depending on the type of room and dormitory.
The students and staff who come to UW through various grants or exchange programmes are assigned accommodation from the pool of places available in the residence halls.
You can also apply for a place in a residence hall if you are a non-Polish national who enrols in a long-term course at UW or – depending on availability – if you participate in a faculty conference. During the summer months, some rooms are available to tourists.
For more information on accommodation, go to the website of the Student Welfare and Support Office (PL: Biuro Pomocy Materialnej).
