Treating people with mutual respect is a fundamental principle of the University of Warsaw community. Every person should feel safe studying and working on our campus – this is an introduction to the “Guide to prevention of sexual harassment at University of Warsaw”. The document is now available online.
The publication covers rules and procedures at the University of Warsaw, as well as recommendations and advice on how to counteract and respond in situations of sexual harassment. You can find in the guide information concerning, among others:
- definitions and examples of sexual harassment,
- ways in which any member of the University community can prevent sexual harassment,
- forms of support for persons who have experienced sexual violence as well as procedures for reporting it to university institutions,
- inappropriate and unacceptable relationships of an emotional and intimate nature at university.
