The University of Warsaw is offering an unpaid 30-hour online Polish language courses. Classes will be held twice a week between January 15th and March 27th, 2024. The courses are intended for University employees.
In these courses we offer:
- free participation
- 30 hours of Polish language classes
- professional and passionate teaching team of Polonicum UW

- great atmosphere in international environment
Obligations of participants:
- active participation
- at least 80% presence
WHEN AND WHERE?
- A1.2 group conducted by Ms. Agnieszka Jastrzębska, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Continuation of the course (2nd trimester) aimed for those who already have learnt basic vocabulary, Polish alphabet and courtesy expressions.
- A1.2 group conducted by Ms. Katarzyna Kołak-Danyi, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Continuation of the course (2nd trimester) aimed for those who already have learnt basic vocabulary, Polish alphabet and courtesy expressions.
- A2.4 group conducted by Ms. Małgorzata Malinowska, Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Continuation of the course (4th trimester) aimed at communication in everyday tasks requiring no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
- B1+ group conducted by Ms. Paulina Potasińska, Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Continuation of the course aimed at developing intermediate communication skills (oral and written) that might be useful during working and living in Poland.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The courses are intended for international employees of the University of Warsaw.
An employee should be understood as a person employed during the period of implementation of the development activity at the University on the basis of a contract of employment or appointment, in the group of academic teachers or non-academic teachers;

Important:
- A placement test is requierd (the access key: jpoltest2021). Remember to save results – click the „Zapisz” button at the end of the test page.
- Persons who do not work as academic teachers are asked to send to welcome.event@uw.edu.pl a signed permission from their immediate supervisor to attend course. The supervisor’s consent template can be downloaded here (WORD EN)
