All Saints’ Day
This year we’re having a long All Saints’ weekend so the University of Warsaw is closed on 31/10 and 1/11.
There will be no classes! 1st November is a bank holiday so expect most stores and offices to be closed.

November 1st is not an ordinary day for Poles.
On this day, Poles go to cemeteries across the country to lit candles, and lay flowers on graves of their loved ones.
In contrast to Halloween, an American tradition that is increasingly celebrated in Europe, this is a serious day to commemorate deceased relatives and friends.
You can expect delays in public transportation, as well as crowds on the streets.
