The Nobelist in Warsaw!

Ceopernicus Science Centre (CSC) has an extraordinary pleasure to invite every person involved in scientific environment to the lecture of Prof. Tim Hunt – How to succeed in science?

This is a unique possibility for those whose day-to-day activity is in various aspects related to science. The first part of the event is intended for the lecture of Prof. Tim Hunt while a second part is dedicated for the audience in order to conduct profound discussion on openness in science and passion for scientific research.

There is free admission to the event. Moreover, in order to provide extended accessibility to the lecture there will be a simultaneous translation from English to Polish language.

Sir Tim Hunt is a Nobel awarded scientist at 2001 in the field of medicine/phisiology for his and his team discoveries of protein molecules that control the division of cells. In particular, Hunt discovered cyclin: a protein in fertilised sea urchin eggs which cyclically aggregates and is depleted during cell division cycles.
