Scholarships for PhD students and social matters

Scholarships

Everyone accepted to the doctoral school, starting from October 1, 2020, will receive a scholarship for not more than four years of their education: of PLN 2371,70 gross (about PLN 2104,65 net) at the beginning, and PLN 3653,70 gross (about PLN 3242,29 net) after mid-term evaluation. The suplement for persons with disabilities amounts to PLN 711,51. These scholarships will be exempt from tax, but will be subject to pension and retirement contributions. The system of common doctoral scholarships will not be addressed to PhD students recruited to doctoral studies before the academic year 2019/2020. They will apply for scholarships based on the existing rules.

Social matters

PhD students also have the right to apply for financial aid from the Material Aid Fund, for a Social Scholarship or for a special scholarship for persons with disabilities.

Once a year, you can also apply for additional funding of vacation leisure at holiday centers belonging to the University or at any other package holidays.
