On 19th March 2021, the ordinance of the Rector of the University of Warsaw on the functioning of the University of Warsaw during the epidemic state announced in connection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection from 20th March 2021 was published . The document concerns the amendment to § 17a of the ordinance No. 217 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 29th September 2020.
From 20th March 2021 until further notice classes in first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, uniform master’s studies, doctoral studies, doctoral schools, post-graduate studies and as part of courses and training are held in accordance with the regulation No. 9 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 18th January 2021 All exams and diploma theses defense, as well as physical education classes will be held remotely. It is recommended to perform work remotely, while working stationary, there should be one employee in the room. Meetings of collective bodies will also be held remotely, library collections will be made available only in a non-contact form.

EDUCATION ORGANISATION
Classes at first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, uniform master’s studies, doctoral studies, at doctoral schools, at post-graduate studies and as part of courses and training are conducted in accordance with the regulation No. 9 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 18th January 2021.
SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Physical education classes are held only remotely.
Sports facilities conducted by the University Club of the Academic Sports Association of the University of Warsaw may take place in sports facilities with the consent of the club’s director expressed in agreement with the director of the Physical Education and Sports Centre, provided that the hygiene and sanitary requirements are met.
FUNCTIONING OF LIBRARIES
Llibraries provide collections only in a non-contact form, in compliance with hygienic and sanitary requirements, if technical possibilities allow it.
MEETINGS of collective bodies
Meetings of collective bodies and entities of the University of Warsaw and other bodies are held only remotely.
exams and defense
Doctoral examinations in doctoral dissertations initiated by 30th April 2019, the defense of doctoral dissertations, meetings of habilitation committees and habilitation colloquiums are conducted only remotely.
ORGANISATION OF WORK
- If there are no justified circumstances against it, the manager orders the employees to work remotely;
- Work organization should minimize the presence of more than one employee in one room at the same time;
- The permissible number of customers staying at the same time in one room should not exceed one person per one service station.
