Christmas with the UW Psychological Counselling Centre
Those who stay in Warsaw over a Christmas holiday break and would like to talk to a psychologist can arrange an online appointment via Skype.
Changes in the University of Warsaw Library’s opening hours from 14th December
From 14th December 2020, the Library will be open:
Monday – Friday 9 am – 9 pm (partially in self-service mode),
Saturday, Sunday – closed.
‘Career planning’ workshops for international students
We are happy to invite all long-term international students to the next edition of ‘Career Planning’ workshops with a professional trainer Joanna Jasińska, PhD.
Reopening of the University of Warsaw Library from 30th November
Matters that do not require a stay in the Library and/or direct contact with BUW staff should be handled online or by phone.
Remote language certification exams
In the academic year 2020/2021, foreign language certification examinations, both the written and oral parts, administered at Warsaw University, will be conducted remotely. The same skills as before, that is, in the traditional examination form, will be tested: listening, reading, writing, speaking as well as grammatical-lexical knowledge.
Information Saturdays at the Department of Foreigners in Mazowieckie Voivodeship
The Department of Foreigners invites you to participate in information Saturdays. The next meeting is scheduled for 28th November. Due to the epidemiological situation, only persons who booked an appointment at the office will be admitted to the Information Saturday.

Free online Polish classes for Belarusian students at UW
Belarusians living in Poland can sign up for free Polish classes provided by the Faculty of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw together with the Open University of Warsaw. The online course will help participants with acclimatisation and adaptation to their life in Poland.
