Application process 2018 to study in English
The application process to studies conducted in English language for the academic year 2018/2019 has already begun! The University of Warsaw offers for candidates from all over the World more than 20 degree programmes. Accordingly, the broad range of available educational choices provides a comprehensive perspective and exclusive opprotunity to obtain a university-level education.
Admissions to the Foundation Year 2018/2019
The Foundation Year for secondary school graduates is an intensive programme aimed at improving language skills, as well as preparing candidates wishing to study in English at the University of Warsaw or other Polish universities.
UW: Initiatives for the Local Community – Powiśle speaks one language
The “Wspólny język Powiśla” (Powiśle speaks one language) Team invites you again to learn more about Warsaw, Powiśle district and people living there.
There are two new events planned in order to involve students in cooperation with the Powisle locals (Dobra 55 Street and the vicinity).
Get inspired at the UW
Martijn de Jonge is a Bachelor student at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen in the Netherlands. “I was once in Warsaw for a short holiday and I really liked the city. I decided to spend my Erasmus scholarship here. A lot of people from my university choose Great Britain, Belgium or Germany, but I wanted to experience another culture, different from my own. Because, for me, these countries are similar to the Netherlands” explains Martijn.

Meeting Place Warsaw invites for: Nice to see You – Warsaw Hospitality Days from 25th to 27th of May 2018 throughout Warsaw.
The first Warsaw Hospitality Days consist of 30 events in 8 different languages.

Many people at the University of Warsaw share these values – says Qian Li-Piszczek, a language teacher at the Chinese Studies Department of UW.
Juwenalia – students festival
The Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw invites you to the students’ festival – JUWENALIA UW. Like every year, the main campus and at Agrykola Square will be among the best venues in Warsaw. This year, the concerts will last for three days, 11th-12th and 26th May 2018.
