We invite you to the Navigating Polish Culture workshop for all international (non-Polish) students of the University of Warsaw!

- Polish culture – general information, national and everyday symbols
- Most common behaviour and communication styles
- Polish dos and don’ts
- Life in Warsaw
- Significant Polish contexts: historical, geographical, and cultural
- Important Polish holidays and traditions
Get ready for a journey—though not a typical tourist trip! This will be a deeper dive into Polish culture. In this interactive workshop, we’ll peel back the layers of culture—just like those of an onion—as we explore the symbols, heroes, rituals, and values that define life in Poland.
You’ll learn about communication styles and social customs. We’ll cover important Polish holidays and cultural contexts to enrich your understanding of the local traditions.
Whether you want to avoid cultural missteps or simply understand your new surroundings better, this workshop will be your guide around Polish culture. It’s also a great way to kickstart the University experience and connect with fellow students!

- During this workshop, we will be engaging in group activities that may involve louder sounds and a dynamic pace. Please consider this before deciding to join the initiative.
- Participants are obliged to attend the meeting form the beginning till the end (2.00 pm to 6.00 pm). After confirming participation, no absences are allowed.
- The workshop is financed by the European Union through the project “Welcome Point – Expanding Horizons”. The qualified participants are obliged to fill in the project declaration before joining the project, thus before the beginning of the workshop.
