Professor Jolanta Choińska-Mika, UW Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Teaching, issued an announcement on 18th March regarding the submission of applications for scholarships and payment periods during the epidemic threat. The announcement contains information on social scholarships, scholarships for persons with disabilities and grants for students and doctoral candidates, as well as Erasmus scholarships.

Submission of applications:
During the epidemic threat, applications will be handled by USOSweb and by email. People who have not yet submitted an application for a social scholarship for the summer semester, a scholarship for students with disabilities or an allowance register scholarship applications in USOSweb, generate a PDF application from USOSWeb and send a PDF to the email address:
- Students:
in the case of a social scholarship – coordinator for the social scholarship in the unit
in the case of a scholarship for students with disabilities – bon@uw.edu.pl
in the case of the allowance – zapomogi@samorzad.uw.edu.pl
- Doctoral candidates:
in the case of a social scholarship and allowance – stypendia.usos@uw.edu.pl
in the case of a scholarship for persons with disabilities – bon@uw.edu.pl
Application deadline
The deadline for submitting applications for a social scholarship for the summer semester is extended: if you send the application to the appropriate e-mail address by 20th April , the scholarship will be awarded with compensation from March. Submission of an application between 21st April and 20th May will award the scholarship from May – in accordance with the current rules. Schedules for requesting the benefits are also included in the USOSweb in the Applications tab.
Scholarship payments
Payments of all benefits granted to students and doctoral candidates are made in accordance with agreed schedules.
Erasmus scholarships
Erasmus scholarships are paid in accordance with the applicable rules and on set dates. If you return to Poland, please inform the International Relations Office by e-mail immediately.
NAWA scholarships
According to the announcement of Ministry of Science and Higher Education from 12th March, all NAWA Director scholarships are paid according to the current rules and on set dates. The suspension of classes does not affect the right to receive scholarships.
