Rules:
- Creative Result
- rights to a Creative Result are owned by University of Warsaw
- Employee is obligated to inform UTTC (The University Technology Transfer Centre) about creation of a Creative Result by filling in the form called „Powiadomienie o Rezultacie Twórczym”
- a Creative Result can be subject to the commercialisation process
- an Employee can submit a statement in which he expresses his willingness of becoming the owner of the rights to the Creative Result within 14 days of submitting „Powiadomienie o Rezultacie Twórczym” form to UTTC
- in case of submitting a statement in which an Employee expresses his willingness of becoming the owner of the rights to the Creative Result, University has 3 months to make a decision on commercialisation of the Creative Results
- Employee’s organisational unit covers 50% of costs related to legal protection of the Creative Result. The rest of the cost shall be borne by the University
- in case of resignation from commercialisation of the Creative Result by University, within 30 days University makes an offer to Employee which includes: 1) transfer of rights to the Creative Result to Employee; 2) transfer of all data carriers to Employee
- Employee is entitled to a 50% share of the profits from commercialisation of the Creative Result reduced by up to 25% of costs directly related to commercialisation
- Employee is obligated to inform the UTTC about any profits he or she obtained due to the commercialisation of the Creative Result
- Scientific Paper and Result of Employee’s Work
- Author’s economic rights to a Scientific Paper belong to an Employee with an exception of Scientific Paper that is also a Creative Result.
- University acquires author’s economic rights to a result of Employee’s Work
