What do rankings say?
International rankings of higher education institutions – such as Times Higher Education World University Ranking, Quaquarelli Symmonds World University Ranking, Academic Ranking of World Universities (so called Shanghai Ranking) – include only 3% of best universities in the world. UW belongs to this narrow circle and it is always the highest placed Polish university.
In last academic year our University vastly improved its position in Shanghai Ranking. It is due to our academic staff’s excellence, among which there are authors of eminent publications appreciated by creators of the Ranking.
For years our University is also no. 1 higher education institution in Poland.
UW’s offer includes more than 100 programmes in Polish and 27 programmes in English for 1st and 2nd cycle candidates.
