We are happy to announce that the Volunteer Centre is starting the Multicultural Meetings at the University of Warsaw in the frames of the Multicultural Volunteering Project!
First meeting will be dedicated to the culture and language of Turkmenistan. It will be held in English and will take place on 21st of Match
at 5:30 pm in the Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw (the University Library building, Dobra Street 56/66). Volunteer Jemal, who studies International Relations at UW, will take you on a journey around her home country! During her presentation you will get to know the history and culture of Turkmenistan. You will have the opportunity to take a glimpse into the world of Turkmen designers, food and interesting sights!
That’s not everything – Jemal will introduce you to her native language and together we will learn a few sentences! There will be also some surprises waiting for the participants of the event. Yes, all this during one evening!

Application deadline: 19th March 9am. The list of participants is limited so please do not wait until last moment!
Also if you want to join UCW’s Multicultural Team and would like to present or conduct a workshop about your country/culture/language/etc. you are more than welcome to do so – just send us an email and they will help you in the organisation.
