Kirkland Research Programme for teachers and researchers from Ukraine and Belarus

Leaders of Change Foundation announce an open competition for the KIRKLAND RESEARCH scholarships in the 2nd semester of the 2022/23 academic year.

The Kirkland Research program has been supporting the individual development of researchers from Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia since 2016. The program is aimed at individuals with a PhD degree, and an established academic record.

The Program offers a one-semester research stay, consisting of individual research work under the guidance of an academic advisor, which is expected to result in the preparation of a research article. The Program’s graduation diploma is based on a research article approved for publication by the academic advisor. Kirkland Research Scholars are not required to attend educational classes at universities, but may participate in them. However, scholars are expected to participate in a Polish language course.

The scholarship offer for the Kirkland Research Program for the second semester of the 2022/23 academic year is aimed at candidates from Ukraine currently residing in their country or in Poland, and candidates from Belarus residing in Poland. Candidates for the scholarship should have at least a PhD degree and a documented scholarly achievements in the form of publications. The scholarship is provided for a period of one semester (4 months) from the end of February 2023 to the end of June 2023.
