We know that the legalisation of stay in Poland may seem complicated, especially with the recent changes in the residence permit procedure. That is why Welcome Point invites all international students and PhD candidates of the University of Warsaw to an online informational meeting on residence-related legal issues in Poland.
The meeting will be led by Dr Łukasz Wieczorek, Legalisation of Stay Coordinator at Welcome Point.
During the meeting, participants will learn about the most important rules concerning legal stay in Poland, including visas, residence permits, and the new procedure for submitting residence applications through the MOS 2.0 system.
From 27 April 2026, applications for temporary residence, permanent residence and long-term EU resident permits must be submitted electronically through the Case Management Module — MOS. The meeting will explain what has changed, how the new system works, what documents are required, and what students should pay special attention to when applying.
What will you learn?
- Legalisation of residence in Poland
- How to apply for a residence permit through the new MOS 2.0 system
- Trusted Profile, e-Delivery and inPOL portal — what they are and why they matter
