Welcome Days 2026 at the University of Warsaw!

Are you beginning your studies at the University of Warsaw in the 2026/2027 academic year? Welcome Point invites new long-term international students to take part in Welcome Days 2026.

Starting at a new university—and often in a new country—can bring many questions. How does the University work? Where can you find help? What opportunities are available outside the classroom? Welcome Days will help you find the answers and take your first steps at UW with confidence.

What can you expect?

During the meeting, participants will:

  • learn how the University of Warsaw and its main administrative procedures work;
  • receive practical information about studying at UW;
  • find out where to seek support and reliable information;
  • discover student organisations, sports, cultural activities and other opportunities;
  • receive useful tips about studying and living in Warsaw;
  • have an opportunity to ask questions and meet other new students.

Participants will also be able to join a guided walk around the UW Main Campus after the meeting. The walk will introduce them to the most important university buildings and places that may be useful during their studies.
