The Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2022/2023 will take place
on the 3rd of October, at 2pm. The online transmission of the Ceremony will be available on the university’s website in Polish with simultaneous translation into English.
It is one of the University’s most important events during which a world-renowned surgeon, Professor Maria Siemionow of the University of Illinois, Chicago will deliver an inauguration lecture.
According to the order of the Rector of the University of Warsaw, the 3rd of October is day free of classes.
