The University Library (BUW) has been one of the most important places in students’ lives for more than 200 years. Students like to study there, organize meetings or spend time inside it. Moreover, Each student will use the library more than once during their studies and spend more than one hour here. That’s why we want to invite you to the two library trainings in October!
During the library training, you will receive basic information useful for users of BUW; you will be introduced to the terminology used in the UW libraries’ online catalogue and you will become familiar with library procedures – from signing up to searching and using the BUW’s traditional and electronic collections, including how to borrow books.
You will also have a chance to take a walk and learn what and where is located in the Library. Moreover, you will get information about the history of the University Library and know the difference between the Library building and the Old Library building.
