Heybat’s outstanding achievements at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Warsaw rightly merited this award!
But that’s not all – he was also recognized for his:
- Extraordinary efforts to integrate the university community;
- Active volunteering at the UW University Volunteer Center;
- Deep commitment to the duties of the Student Union and;
- Great contribution as a valued member of the Welcome Point team!
The award was presented on February 8th during the “International Students in Poland” conference at Poznań University of Technology, co-organised by the Perspektywy Foundation.
DSc. Pawel Kaczmarczyk, UW Professor, has received the Internalisation Star as Research Star award!
We are pleased to announce that DSc. Pawel Kaczmarczyk, a highly valued professor at the University of Warsaw, has been honored with the Internationalisation Star award as a Research Star. Recognized for his significant contributions to the internationalization of higher education, Dr. Kaczmarczyk is a pioneer in migration research.
A graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the UW, Dr. Kaczmarczyk earned his Master’s (1999) and PhD (2004) degrees in Economics. He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and, since 2016, has been director of the UW’s Migration Research Center.
His influence extends beyond academia, playing a key role in bodies such as the Committee for Migration Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and working with international institutions such as the European Commission and the World Bank.
