Erasmus+
- Check at your home university whether there is an agreement with the University of Warsaw within your area of studies. Contact the IRO at your home university and make sure they nominate you for an exchange.
- Register to the Internet Recruitment of Candidates system — IRK and fill out the online application form. Make sure to choose the appropriate status at UW (Erasmus or Exchange Student). Here you can find application instructions (PDF).
- Upload the required documents.
- Submit the application and wait for verification.

Visiting Students Programme
International students who want to apply for the Visiting Student Programme should provide UW with:
- Visiting Student UW application form (signed and stamped by the home institution),
- transcript of records from recent studies or copy of the last obtained diploma,
- cover letter,
- language certificate (at least at a B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages set by the Council of Europe or any equivalent),
- scan of a passport or a national ID.
The application procedure lasts at least 3 weeks and all applicants are informed on its result (acceptance or refusal).
Your application can be verified only after you submit an on-line application and a physical copy of the UW Application Form is delivered by post to UW’s International Relations Office.
