This year we would like to invite you to take a relaxing walk in Warsaw, inspect the beauty of the architecture and find out stories connected with people who touched it with their presence.
Warsaw City Walk – Saxon area
You’ve heard about these places, maybe you have been there and but it would be so much fun if you had a dedicated guide with you.. and now you can!
Take a walk from the University Main Gate to General Piłsudski Square, Saxon Garden and streets: Kredytowa, Świętokrzyska, Chmielna and Nowy Świat.
Save the date – the Warsaw City Walk in English will take place on:
- 25th September, Wednesday, at 3.00pm
Campus Walk – discover your Univeristy’s heritage
Navigating a new environment is no easy feat, but with a little bit of guidance nothing is impossible. Campus Orientation will allow you to familiarize yourself with the most important buildings that make up the Main Campus, as well as with the Main Campus in general.
During the tours we will visit the aristocratic Tyszkiewicz-Potocki Palace built for the last Polish king’s niece, the Old University Library, the Column Hall in the Former Museum Building (and learn about Michelangelo’s art) and the seat of the University authorities, i.e. the Kazimierz Palace.
We offer three campus walk dates:
- 24th September, 3.00pm (in Polish)
- 30th September, 3.00 pm (English)
- 8th October, 11.30 am (English)
