29.05.2026 Workshop: Managing Intercultural Teams in the Academic Environment

On May 29, we invite leaders of international research groups and projects to join a training session on management and communication in multicultural teams. The training will also mark the launch of the NAWA–EURAXESS network in Mazovia region.

Qualification Rules

The workshop is intended for Polish and international leaders of international research groups or research projects employed at the University of Warsaw and at research institutions in the Mazovia region, in particular members of Mazovia NAWA-Euraxess Network. Two places are reserved for participants from each partner institution.

Participation in the training requires:

  • registration via the Google Form,
  • completion of the NAWA participant data form
  • completion of a competency pre-test and post-test (after workshop)

The Mazovia NAWA-Euraxess Network

The workshop is part of the project “Establishment of the Regional NAWA–EURAXESS Network in the Mazovian Voivodeship”, one of 11 regional initiatives launched under the NAWA–EURAXESS NETWORK program. Its goal is to foster cooperation between academic institutions, universities, and local organisations supporting international researchers, doctoral candidates, and their families in Poland.

Activities within the Mazovia NAWA-Euraxess Network are coordinated by the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), with the UW as one of the partners. Other institutions involved include:

The network will organise training sessions, integration and sports events, and study visits to help strengthen regional support for international researchers in Mazovia.

The project is funded by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS), within the project “Support for Higher Education and Research Institutions in Services for International Visitors and Polish Researchers Going Abroad” (FERS.01.05-IP.08-0003/24).
