10.06.2026 – Warsaw Legends: A Walk Through the Myths of the Old Town

What secrets are hidden in the streets of Warsaw’s Old Town? What stories were once whispered about devils, sorcerers, mermaids, and the mysterious basilisk?

Join us for a special walking tour in English and discover Warsaw from a completely different perspective — not only as a city of history, but also as a city of legends, imagination, and unforgettable stories.

What to expect?

During the walk, we will explore the charming streets and squares of the Old Town while uncovering the fantastical tales that have been passed down through generations. You will hear about magical creatures, old myths, mysterious places, and the legends that still shape the atmosphere of Warsaw today.

This walk is a perfect opportunity to get to know the city better, meet other members of the university community, and experience Warsaw in a more unusual and inspiring way.

Meeting point: The exact meeting point will be shared with registered participants.

The event is open to international and Polish students, PhD students, and employees. Due to a limited number of places, priority will be given to international participants, but Polish members of the university community are very welcome to apply as well.
