{"id":7673,"date":"2022-03-30T14:42:15","date_gmt":"2022-03-30T12:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welcome.uw.edu.pl\/?p=7673"},"modified":"2022-04-06T15:02:14","modified_gmt":"2022-04-06T13:02:14","slug":"career-planning-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/welcome.uw.edu.pl\/wp\/career-planning-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Career planning\u2019 workshops for international students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7678\" src=\"https:\/\/welcome.uw.edu.pl\/content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/kursy-jezykowe-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"585\" height=\"585\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We are happy to invite all long-term international students to the next edition of \u2018Career Planning\u2019 workshops with a professional trainer Joanna Jasi\u0144ska, PhD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The purpose of our workshop is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>familiarizing participants with the current trends on the Polish labor market, the expectations of employers and methods of effective job search,<\/li>\n<li>clarification of skills and predispositions and individual professional goals of workshop participants,<\/li>\n<li>creating a platform for exchanging experiences of workshop participants related to searching and working in Poland<\/li>\n<li>discussion of the rules for creating application documents (CV and cover letter) and their preparation,<\/li>\n<li>creating (general) vocational activation plan for each participant,<\/li>\n<li>simulation of interview with the employer regarding work \u2013 self-presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>WHEN?<\/h1>\n<p>The workshop will be conducted in English and will take place on 13<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>April from <strong>10 am to 5 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Workshops hours include a break.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>WHERE?<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wolontariat.uw.edu.pl\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw<\/a><br \/>\naddress: Dobra 56\/66 00-312 Warsaw (University of Warsaw Library Building \u2013 BUW)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Who can participate?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>2nd and 3rd year students of first cycle (Bachelor\u2019s degree)<\/li>\n<li>4th and 5th year students of uniform Master studies<\/li>\n<li>students of second cycle (Master\u2019s degree)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Hurry up!
