S\u0142awomir \u017b\u00f3\u0142tek, Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw for Students and Quality of Teaching, raised current issues concerning, inter alia, forms of teaching or activities that students may engage in despite the pandemic. The Vice-Rector also announced the November online meeting aimed mainly at this group of the academic community.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the video, prof. S\u0142awomir \u017b\u00f3\u0142tek, Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Teaching, referred to the current epidemic situation as well as the sanitary regime and restrictions resulting from the inclusion of the entire country in the red zone. Their result is, among others, providing education in the extramural mode.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; According to the Rector&#8217;s request, all distance classes must be conducted in the form of video. I hope that the level of these classes will be high. I am counting on your active participation. Studying is a wide process and by studying you should understand all activities at the University of Warsaw &#8211; said prof. S\u0142awomir \u017b\u00f3\u0142tek, Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw. &#8211; The University of Warsaw, despite the fact that we are in the red zone, is not lifeless. Many things happen here all the time. I would like to encourage you to take part in these things &#8211; he added.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">The Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Teaching listed various activities in which students can engage. Among them are:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">elections to the bodies of the Students&#8217; Union,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">events organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/iuw.edu.pl\/pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Incubator of the University of Warsaw<\/a>,<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">cultural program implemented as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uw.edu.pl\/scena-online-uniwersytetu-warszawskiego\/\">UW Stage<\/a>,<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">initiatives organised by The <a href=\"https:\/\/wolontariat.uw.edu.pl\/volunteers\/\">Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">Support at the University of Warsaw<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">&#8211; Pandemic is a difficult time and not everyone is coping well with it, so we want to help you. Remember that there is The Psychological Counselling Centre at the University. If you feel discomfort related to the current situation or problems you have at the University, contact this centre &#8211; it is for you &#8211; explained Vice-Rector \u017b\u00f3\u0142tek.<\/p>\n<p>The Psychological Counselling Centre at the University of Warsaw\u00a0 is the psychological first aid point for the University community. During the coronavirus epidemic, this unit provides free online consultations for students and university employees. From November, therapeutic groups for students of the University of Warsaw will start there. More information is available on the Centre&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/cpp.uw.edu.pl\/info-in-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the University of Warsaw there is also an Ombudsman, i.e. an academic spokesman &#8211; Dr. Anna Cybulko and the main specialist for equality &#8211; Dr. hab. Julia Kubisa. You can read about their activities <a href=\"http:\/\/ombudsman.uw.edu.pl\/en\/start\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the recording, prof. S\u0142awomir \u017b\u00f3\u0142tek has invited all students to a live meeting on 6<sup>th<\/sup> November.
