The project will be carried out by a consortium of four institutions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University of Warsaw<\/li>\n<li>Palack\u00fd University Olomouc (Czech Republic) \u2013 project coordinator<\/li>\n<li>European University Foundation (Luxembourg)<\/li>\n<li>Universit\u00e9 Paris-Est Cr\u00e9teil (France)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><strong>At the UW, the project is coordinated by Welcome Point<\/strong>. With our central role in supporting adaptation, integration, and international cooperation of our diversed community, <span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">we are positioned to lead UW\u2019s involvement in the project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"569\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The project will run for three years, from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2028.<\/p>\n<h3>Project Goal<\/h3>\n<p>The aim of <strong>INSIGHT<\/strong> is to enhance the internationalization of higher education institutions (HEIs) by providing better support for <strong>international students, PhD candidates, staff, and researchers<\/strong> \u2013 groups that often lack sufficient systemic assistance.<\/p>\n<h3>Strengthening University Support Systems<\/h3>\n<p>The project focuses on strengthening university offices and units that work with international students and researchers by developing a <strong>comprehensive support model<\/strong> that facilitates everyday adaptation, cultural integration, and participation in academic and social life.<\/p>\n<p>However, INSIGHT goes beyond paperwork \u2013 it is about creating spaces for relationship-building, shared learning, and intercultural exchange.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Student-Centred Activities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tandem programs<\/strong> (pairing local and international students)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cultural and integration events<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Development workshops<\/strong> supporting well-being and cultural adaptation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Courses<\/strong>, including a <strong>summer school<\/strong> and a <strong>virtual exchange<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Podcasts, videos, and e-flyers<\/strong> promoting multiculturalism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An important part of the project will be <strong>training for university staff<\/strong> who work with international students and employees \u2013 with a focus on <strong>digital competencies<\/strong> and <strong>intercultural communication<\/strong>. The project will also include <strong>study visits<\/strong> aimed at exchanging experience and good practices among partner institutions.<\/p>\n<h3>Long-Term Impact<\/h3>\n<p>Thanks to INSIGHT, universities will not only attract more international students, but also create cohesive, supportive, and open academic environments. The project will also provide support for individuals affected by conflict or crisis situations.
