The Scholarship to Start initiative’s second edition has been launched! It is addressed to the most talented students and PhD candidates who have been accepted to the University of Warsaw or Doctoral School in a certain academic year.<\/p>\n
The program offers\u00a0three<\/strong> different types of scholarships:<\/p>\n This scholarship is addressed to first-year students in first-cycle or long second-cycle studies<\/strong>. The scholarship is offered for students who have won subject competitions and have received the highest amount of points during the recruitment process for their studies, based on their title as a subject competition winner.<\/p>\n The scholarship is awarded to students in the first year of the first-cycle, second-cycle, and long second-cycle studies, as well as first-year doctoral candidates at doctoral school<\/strong>, who are outstanding athletes with the status of medalist of\u00a0Polish Championships<\/strong>\u00a0or finalist of the\u00a0Olympics, World<\/strong>, or\u00a0European Championships<\/strong>. It is also\u00a0for students, who are eligible for the Rector\u2019s scholarship<\/strong> in the academic year in which they apply for the \u201cScholarship to Start.\u201d<\/p>\n This scholarship is intended for\u00a0first-year doctoral students<\/strong>\u00a0at a doctoral school, who achieved in the recruitment procedure a\u00a0score of 20% of the highest results<\/strong>\u00a0in a given discipline or within the educational program in a given doctoral school.<\/p>\n Students and PhD candidates who wish to apply for the\u00a0Scholarship to Start<\/strong> should fill out\u00a0an application<\/u>.<\/a> Please fill out the following fields on the application:<\/p>\n After filling out the application, please make sure that you attach the\u00a0confirmation of your achievements (Candidates for Scholarship to Start for Doctoral Candidates do not have to attach the confirmation)<\/strong><\/p>\n When can I apply for the academic year 2023\/2024?<\/strong><\/p>\n The application can be delivered until 31st January, 2023.\u00a0<\/strong>The application can be delivered:<\/p>\n After the application period has concluded, the scholarship amount will be announced.
